Rapid Chat – Terms of Service & End-User License Agreement

By creating an account, downloading, installing, or using Rapid Chat
(“Rapid Chat,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood,
and agree to be bound by these Terms. You may not use Rapid Chat unless you
accept these Terms in full.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of digital consent in your
country) to use Rapid Chat. By using Rapid Chat, you confirm you have the legal
capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to
install, access, and use Rapid Chat for personal, non-commercial purposes,
subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or redistribute Rapid Chat except as permitted by law;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Rapid Chat.
All intellectual property rights in Rapid Chat are owned by us or our licensors.
3. Accounts & Security
You may need an account to access certain features. You are responsible for
maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under
your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content & Abuse
Rapid Chat maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for
objectionable content and abusive conduct.
You may not, under any circumstances:
- Post, share, or transmit content that is illegal, harassing, hateful,
discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, incites violence, or is
otherwise inappropriate;
- Engage in bullying, harassment, impersonation, doxxing, or abusive behavior
toward others;
- Use Rapid Chat to spread false or misleading information or promote harmful
activities;
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, probe, or misuse the service, or use automated
bots/scripts to access it.
Enforcement: We may remove content, suspend accounts, or
permanently ban users immediately and without prior notice for
violations of this policy. Banned users forfeit access and are not entitled to
refunds. Where required by law or if we believe harm is likely, we may report
violations to appropriate authorities.
5. Privacy & Data
Our Privacy Policy
explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Rapid Chat,
you consent to such collection and use. While we use security measures, we
cannot guarantee complete protection of your data.
6. Messaging & Communication
Users are responsible for their communications. We do not guarantee the delivery,
reliability, or retention of messages. We may remove offensive, harmful, or
illegal messages at our discretion.
7. Updates & Modifications
We may update Rapid Chat at any time, including security fixes, feature changes,
or improvements. Updates may install automatically without additional notice.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for any violation of these
Terms, especially for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Upon
termination, your license ends and you must cease use and uninstall the
software.
9. Disclaimers
Rapid Chat is provided “as is” and “as available” without
warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness
for a particular purpose, security, reliability, or non-infringement. We are not
responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from your
use of Rapid Chat.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims
arising from or related to your use of Rapid Chat will not exceed the greater
of: (a) total amounts you paid to us (if any) for the service in the 12 months
preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United
States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any
dispute will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Seattle,
Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect
changes. Your continued use of Rapid Chat after updates constitutes acceptance
of the revised Terms.
